The Tree in the Forest

Little diorama I worked on these past two weeks. This was a nice challenge since I pushed myself to learn new softwares and workflow, learning a lot in the process. So here are the specs for this project :
- 1K textures
- Done in Unreal Engine 4
- All screens from the engine.

For the tree, I used SpeedTree since it's a very powerful soft when it comes to vegetation, so I went with it. I combined it with some retopo in 3Ds Max, and I used the High Poly tree to bake the final twigs, that I finally placed in SpeedTree one last time.
For the textures, I combined a lot of software depending on the material : I used Photoshop and Substance B2M for the trunk, Zbrush for the wall and the ground using Nanomesh. This allowed me to export some nice heightmaps that I could use in UE4.
