The Hyper Relay is the first Event Images that I had the chance to make on Stellaris. It depict a new megastructure in Overlord that allows the player to build a fast lane in all their Empire borders.

Having a game-ready asset helped a lot iterating for thumbnails and play with light and composition in no time. It allowed me to spend more time painting over the 3D and playing with color schemes.
The first idea got scrapped so that we could keep the consistency with Game Design, which evolved into the final version that matches the concept better.
